Testing with Portable Browsers

No excuses for not testing your PeopleSoft site on different browsers anymore! You can download portable versions of almost all the major browsers including:

Firefox

• Firefox 3.5x
• Firefox Portable 3.x
• Firefox Portable 2.x

Chrome

• Google Chrome 3.x
• SRware Iron (privacy enhanced version of Chrome)

Opera

• Opera 10.x
• Opera 9.6x

Safari

There are apparently portable versions of the Windows version of safari out there, but I haven't tried them.

Internet Explorer

There are apparently portable versions of IE7 and IE8 out there, but I haven't tried them.

Note that W3C maintains browser statistics by month to track which browsers are using.
