Well, as the thread title and summary say, I can't figure out how to add a new scroll level to a component in app designer. I can't find it in peoplebooks, and the procedure for doing so isn't obvious after some hunting around in the CI.

Er, rather than 'the CI', I meant the component.

The structure of components actually come from lower level objects, i.e., pages (so records in scroll areas, grids or scroll bars).

If you want to add a scroll level to a component then you need to add that record to a scroll area/grid/scroll bar on the appropriate page in the component. Changes to the page will be reflected in component's structure.

Use the order tab on the page to view the scroll level (Lvl column) of your scroll area. Double clicking on the scroll area allows you to set the occurs level which is the scroll level. You can do the same thing with grids and scroll bars.

The basic hierarchy for PeopleSoft development is (from bottom-to-top): Field > Record > Page > Component > Menu > Portal Registry.
