Default Value Constants for Time
In Campus Solutions Self Service, the My Class Schedule page uses constant default values for the start and end times. These are the fields MEETING_TIME_START and MEETING_TIME_END on the record DERIVED_CLASS_S. The constant default for MEETING_TIME_START is 8A for 8:00 AM and for MEETING_TIME_END the default is 6P for 6:00 PM.
What does this all mean? Well if you want to set a default value for a time field, use the convention 1-12A or 1-12P e.g. 1A for 1:00 am through to 12P for 12:00pm.
