I just wanted to updated and get some help from this blog.

As I have setup SoapUI recently and I am new to this tool. when ever I am trying to get a message it show an error of appserv timeout after 10 minutes. Can anyone help me regarding the same, that what should I do to resolve this issue with SoapUI tool.

I am using peopletool 8.54.14
Linux- 6.6

Please help as I'm looking forward for help and some setting to increase the timeout in web-services or IB or any other as per the suggestion. Under Soap tool we have already set the timeout time of 200 minutes still its getting timeout after 10 minutes.

Did u mean the service operation in IB_UTILITY service ?
I had check all the service operation including GETWSDL, they are all in active status, request handler & routing all active.
Service Operation Security also have full access in PTPT1200 permission list.
the user I user to authenticate in Node PSFT_HR & ANONYMOUS also has PTPT1200 permission list.

Do you have any idea about something that i should re-check again?

I would like to ask a question about IB.
I have configure peoplesoft IB in my local vm.

I had tried to provide service by CI, and in the finish process, it shows a wsdl link. I tried to access the link, and the XML show correct Output.

actually i have creted another one new component approval same as PR main approval components with few limited display of feilds for mobile app…

Now here i have creted To CI's one for Main PR component and other for mobile component..

I have drraged the Main approval Pr component CI in to the mobile component to generate the auto code and have assined all the values correctly…

I have created A CI based Web service For Purchase Requisition.I have tested the Component interface in Component interface tester its working fine here and I created a Web service for the same but when I am testing this web service in Soapui tester.
I ma trying to update a PR from soapui it returns the message notification as 1 which is successful but no update is taking place in the database.. I have added Permission List PTPT1200 to the Service Operation and also to the UserId attached to the 'ANONYMOUS' Node. What else could be the reason?

Sounds like you've looked at the SO/routing level. Could it be an issue with the nodes being used? Are the other areas of integration broker configured correctly?

Possibly it could be some sort of corruption, does it help if you regenerate the CI based web services?

I get the below error when trying to invoke a CI based web service. Unable to find a Routing corresponding to the incoming request message. This SO has a security and User ID password is required to invoke this operation. I have provided the necessary Permission List to the SO Security and also the user id and password. Also GetWSDL SO is correctly configured with proper routing and is active. The CI based SO has active routing of Any to Local. I am not able to bypass this issue. Any help is appreciated.

After applying filters for sender specified routing, node transactions, relationship transactions and the PeopleCode event OnRouteSend, a destination node cannot be found.

We are getting the above error while performing service operation testing with the service operation tester. Here we are using only one routing(i.e any to local) for the service operaton and the default local node here is PSFTP_EP. we have checked various options but unable to resolve. Earlier we have faced same issues with WSDL and SCHEMA files. But we cameout of that by making routings as inactive in GETSCHEMA and GETWSDL(having two active routings for both the operations , in that we made one routing as inactive). please suggest us.waiting for reply eagerly.

Only messages that have no records and fields (i.e., nonrowset-based messages) can use this method.

This doesn't make sense to me since the WSDL is from a third party, and is a non-rowset based message. Can anyone please help with this issue? Thanks!

Or a a logic at the receiving end should exist that picks only the maximum dated info. from the WSDL Response.

Problem: Anyone else other than the third party, who knows the WSDL URL and Request Parameters can get the data from PeopleSoft. (Not Good!)

Question: What is the simplest way to implement WSDL / WS Security so that only a particluar external system/target system (Fusion/Salesforce/etc..) can only invoke them to fetch data from PSFT? (or) In other words, Can we configure the PeopleSoft IB with a 'white list' of requesting domains that are allowed to invoke the services, say (google.com,salesforce.com,oracle.com)

When testing via "Test Service Operation" in PeopleSoft; i got application server exception stated in my last post.
When i try to consume service via my custom online admission application, at time the SCC_LOV service is called with url serverIPaddress/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/SCC_LOV.1.wsdl; following excepetion occurs:

The message is invalid format or is missing required fields."

On further looking into the issue I have found out that its failing when it is trying to call the %IntBroker.SynchRequest(&ReqMsg). The control is not going beyond this statement

Any idea on what can be the cause of the error would be a great help.

Any idea what will be the cause of the error.

I hate digging up old threads but thought it may be worth a try. I am a web service server developer and our PeopleSoft developers are trying to develop a client to interact with my server.

Currently we use the web service basic authentication model and our PeopleSoft developer is running into issues. They reported to me the following: They defined a node in PeopleSoft and defined the username/password within this node. From this they are experiencing authentication failures.

It sounds like the above post may be the solution to this problem but due to my lack of PeopleSoft experience I am not 100% sure.

I believe the above configuration parameters would help her but was hoping you could clarify/affirm my intuition.

We are integrating the PS with 3rd party called PeopleAnswers, we are using the CI based web services.
When there is any error in the values they sent, the IB should send them the reason for the error(Fault message.)
When i use the SOAP UI i am getting the proper error message, but the same is not sent to the 3rd party…. instead they are getting the http status code 500 internal server error from PS to them, it seems the IB is not picking the fault message and sending them…

Did any one have idea wat is the problem

Atlast i got the answer here, the mistakse was the "GETWSDL" sevice operations Rounting was inactive, once i made it active it started working

I'm new to integration s using peoplesoft. I'm trying to use CI based web service, to provide the data to the request send by a 3rd party system.

I was successfully able to create the wsdl and it worked fine in the internet browser.

Now to test the integration, I used the send-master utility to test the SOAP requests that I have generated using the generate soap template(under service utilities)

but when using a input file type project, I'm trying to get the response, I'm getting the following error:

I tried to create proxy client in wsdl.exe and svcutil.exe and got similar error:

ERROR: Unable to to import binding 'CI_U_MY_TEST_CI_Binding' from message 'Http:xmlns.oracle.com/Enterprise/HCM/Services/U_ MyTestEmployee.1'
- Unable to import operation 'EmplCreate'
- The element 'Http:xmlns.oracle.com/Enterprise/Tools/Schemas/M 430148.v1:CreateCompIntfcU_MY_TEST_CI' is missing

Looks like it cannot locate the targent namespace or the Import .xsd file. Now, I am stuck and don't know where to go from here. I have seen ppl saying that if I have the .xsd file in the same location as .wsdl (in local drive ) it should work but I do not think I can get to that .xsd file.

is there any workaround to this. Since I am new to to XML for that matter PS as well, am I missing anything important here?
I would like to hear from you experts, please.

We followed your steps. It turned out that the routing for GetWSDL was set inactive a while ago by other developers. Once we active the routing for GetWSDL operation. We were able to open the wsdl with browser. We are not seeing that "Unable to find a Routing corresponding to the incoming request message." message anymore.

The problem is that there's a hidden checkbox field on that PS page ROLE_DYNMEMBER that's labeled "Publish". It's defaulted as checked, which runs the DYNROLE_PUBL when you Execute Rule and dies. We made that field visible so we could uncheck the box, and the DYNROLE app engine runs instead.

(If I remember right, we had to contact Oracle to resolve this issue)

Which might explain how all the target connectors are not loading. I think it will ping (and look correct with the other one, but that is for web services).
