Welcome

I started this wiki as a way of collecting and managing the knowledge I have gained during my time working as a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant. However instead of hoarding all that knowledge and keeping it from everyone, I decided it would be better if I shared it with all the other PeopleSoft users out there - for free. You will find that most of the content on this site is technical, but there are aticles with general information as well as troubleshooting tips, and links to other useful resources.

The information on this site is licensed under creative commons attribution share-alike license so feel free to use it however you see fit. Please see the following for more information about the creative commons license and what it means. Basically you're free to share this information with others and to the adapt the work provided you give due credit to this site as your source.

As you browse this site, there are a few things to keep in mind. I request three things from you in exchange for knowledge that you find on this site:

  1. If anyone ever asks where you found the information, please refer them to this wiki.
  2. Visit the forums, and post any new topics that you would like to see or any updates or amendments to existing topics
  3. Please consider signing up and contributing to this wiki to help it grow

Being a wiki the best way to find information is through the search functionality. The search goes through the article titles, their content, and the forums. I've found it is pretty good at returning the right results … provided you have at least a vague idea of what you want. You can also use the recent changes page to see what's been updated or tick the new pages checkbox to see just the new content. The recent changes page contains an RSS feed, so you can add that to your favourite feed reader.

The page tags are also really good. They categorise articles in the wiki into a page tag cloud. You can also see the page tag cloud in the side bar.

Also there are now forums, so make sure you use them. They are for requesting new content you want to see on the site and for asking help. Please put any comments regarding this site in the forums instead of trying to contact me directly.

I hope you enjoy the site and find something useful here.
